Clay, a big Britney Spears fan and BreatheHeavy.com reader, asked Britney for a hug during his Meet & Greet before her show in Vancouver Friday night. She said no.

Here’s his story:

“I was the first one in, so they didn’t tell me we weren’t allowed to ask. I asked her for a hug and she froze up, she seemed scared. She said “Um… erm… uhhh,” and then looked at Larry. He shook his head no. I told her I loved her and she said “Thank you!” It was surreal. I still can’t believe it.”

I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that she can’t decide for herself if she wants to hug a fan, or that her management has banned it. How disappointing and ungrateful.
